Privacy and security policy

Definitions

When we say "Infolyzer", "we", "our", or "us", we are referring to Infolyzer AB, the Stockholm-based company that develops Flowmine, our employees, directors, officers, affiliates, and subsidiaries.

When we say "you", "client", "your" or "client's", we are referring to the person or business entity that is registered with us to use the Flowmine application and services.

When we say "app", "apps", "application", "applications", "website" or "websites", we mean our websites located at flowmine.com, including all subdomains and sites associated with those domains, and other websites that we operate now and in the future.

When we say "services," we mean our websites, APIs (Application Programming Interfaces), applications, newsletters, our content, and various third-party services that together make up the Flowmine ecosystem.

When we say "Flowmine", we mean our apps, websites, and services collectively.

When we say "Terms of Service" or "TOS", we mean our Terms of Service document.

When we say "Privacy and Security Policy" or "Policy", we mean our Privacy and Security Policy (this document).

When we say "information," we mean all of the different forms of data that you provide us and that we collect from you from your direct or indirect use of Flowmine.

Privacy

Our clients entrust us with sensitive financial data, and we take that trust extremely seriously. Protecting that data's privacy is one of our core values, and all Flowmine systems and processes adhere to industry best practices in security.

During the registration process and daily use of the service, we ask you to provide information including, but not limited to:

  • email address
  • company name, address, company registration ID, sales tax registration ID, both yours and your clients'
  • purchases and expenses made by you or your company
  • your company revenue
  • time spent on clients and projects
  • tax information

If you are a user registering with an existing account, we also ask you to state:

  • Your given name (first name)
  • Your surname (family name or last name)

The sole purpose of collecting this information is to be able to provide you with the services that Flowmine offers; project management, time and expense tracking, invoice generation, and financial statistics. Your email address is used to sign in to the service, to send you updates and alerts, to contact you in regard to your account, and to send you information about the service.

If you have registered with an account that you do not own, you consent the owner of that account to retain your name's occurrences in their account data for historical reasons as they see fit.

We will never sell or re-distribute your email address or other information to any third party.

We also collect credit card or payment information for paid subscriptions. This information will be securely stored with a third party specialized in the handling of such information, such as a credit card payment gateway or other payment vendors.

To improve the service, we continuously analyze our users' demographics and behavior based on the information provided to us through our apps and sites. Research and analysis are done on an aggregate basis and is not intended to identify individual users. This information may include IP Address, location information, date and time, browser type, and any other action you might have taken to use and while using the services. This collection process includes the use of cookies, both internal and third-party cookies. A typical example of a third party is Google Analytics.

We have a public blog on our website, and any information you provide there may be read, collected and used by anyone. Our websites might also include social media features. These features may collect your IP address, which pages you are visiting, and may set cookies to make sure they function correctly. Social media features and widgets are either hosted by a third party or hosted directly on our site. Your interactions with those features are governed by the privacy policy of the companies providing them.

We are not responsible for (and this Privacy Policy does not cover) your use of any third-party widgets, features, or websites or links to third-party websites or services. We encourage you to read the privacy policy of any third-party site you visit or service you use carefully.

Security and Reliability

All accounts use SSL-encrypted connections for all communication, which means that you never send or receive data in plain-text. Sensitive data, like passwords, are stored encrypted in the databases.

Payments are handled by an external payment gateway provider, which means that your credit card details never pass through our servers.

All data stored in Flowmine is kept safe and secure. Backups occur multiple times per day, and all backups are continuously replicated to at least two physical, geographically separated data centers. Backups and application logs are retained for at least 30 days.

Flowmine achieves an average 99.9% uptime, but in case of the unexpected, please send an email to support@flowmine.com. Please enclose as much technical detail as possible in the description. Most reports will take less than 24 hours to investigate.

We do not pursue any action against parties who disclose issues through this process, nor do we compensate disclosing parties for submissions.

Modifications and Notifications

Infolyzer may, at its sole discretion, modify or revise the Policy at any time, and you agree to be bound by such modifications or revisions if you continue to use the service.

Unless explicitly stated otherwise, any modifications or development of the current service shall be subject to the Policy. Continued use of the Service after any such changes shall constitute your consent to such changes.
